Delightful little cafe only serving scones, cakes and coffee/tea so no fuss ordering. The cakes are all baked very well lovely and moist and very tasty. Well done ladies.

My first visit to Origins coffee shop today. What can I say it was a lovely place to unwind and chat to friends. It is spotlessly clean. Beautifully decorated. Lovely staff. The shop has some beautiful pieces of homeware and hand crafted chocolates also. My mouth was watering. I'm a vegan and I was unable to have a slice of the beautiful cakes on display, initially this was very disappointing, however Darren the owner, surprised me with free, suitable for vegan, raspberry chocolates as a gesture of good will, I've got to say they were beautiful. If you're a vegan or not, please give them a try, you won't regret it. He was very interested in getting my opinion on the chocolates and was pleasantly surprised at my enthusiastic response. We also discussed vegan cakes that would suit both vegan and non vegan palates. Suggestions were made and he was receptive to the idea of stocking vegan products. How lovely to be met with such enthusiasm. Thank you Darren, I came away with a smile.

Hands down one of the best lattes we've had Quite a few places in Darlington to choose from but when it comes to a decent independent coffee shop only around 2 tick the box. The ladies on shift were lovely and attentive. Coffee and cakes only to buy, but that's all we have with a coffee anyway, so I wasn't disappointed. We shared a Vanilla Slice which was huge and gorgeous! Dog friendly so a massive thanks for that!! My little guy stayed under the table the whole time and got lots of cuddles from everyone. Thank you ladies, we will be back.

A lovely relaxing atmosphere even with covid restrictions in place. Felt very safe. Staff were very kind, courteous & professional. Coffee & tea & scones, delicious. Will definitely return. My friend & I had not met up since late February. The staff never once showed impatience that we occupied the table for so long. Thankyou so much.

We were staying in Wetherby on holiday and took a ride out to Darlington. Visited this amazing coffee bar. The ambiance and decor was lovely and the cakes were to die for. Absolutely gorgeous. Coffee was very good too and all at a decent price. Well done!!!
